Expectations for Students· Students are expected to participate in their learning. · Students must show up for class prepared. It is a reasonable expectation to show up with a pen, notebook, and textbook.· Student should be on time for class.· Students are to be respectful of themselves and each other. This classroom is a community of learners and everyone deserves to be treated with respect. Everyone has the right to learn without disruption. Student Responsibilities· Students must have their, pen, notebook, folder and textbook every day. The notebook and note taking are important skills in this course and notebooks will be graded every marking period and weighted as a test. · Students have homework every night. It may be written or it may be a reading assignment. . If they do not have an assignment then they should be reviewing their notes. Students will receive a separate grade for homework each marketing period. · Attendance is necessary for the student to pass. You have to be here. · When a student misses a class it is the students’ responsibility to see me for any assignments that they missed. I will provide them with all assignments and/or handouts. It is their responsibility to get the notes from their classmates.
